Product Description
Chemical Family: Triethanolamine (TEA) series
Appearance:Colorless, viscous liquid with a faint ammoniacal odor. Soluble in water and ethanol.
Key Properties:
Alkaline; absorbs CO₂ and H₂S.
Corrosive to copper, aluminum, and alloys. Liquid/vapor irritates skin and eyes. Forms esters, amide salts, and lipids with acids/fatty acids.
Applications
1. Cement Industry: Primary raw material for grinding aids.
2. Concrete: Raw material for water reducers and early-strength agents.
3.Metalworking:Corrosion inhibitor in cutting fluids, antifreeze, and surface treatments.
4. Electroplating:Cyanide-free alternative for high-quality plating.
5. Other Uses: Plasticizer, lubricant additive, humectant for textiles/cosmetics, and dispersant for dyes/resins.
